IT"S GOING TO BE A GIRL!!

For those of you who haven't heard, we are having a baby in March! Nichol had her Ultrasound yesterday and it appears that we are going to have a new baby girl in the family. Everything appeared to be normal and healthy in the Ultrasound. The whole process of having a baby, from conception to birth, is still just amazing to me!! A true miracle and blessing from God!!

Christina's Reaction Caught on Camera

We filmed Christina's reaction to the news of a new baby sister. She was slightly excited! Nichol had been telling her that it might be a boy and she had finally settled on the fact that it probably was. It's funny, you can see her initial excitement, the processing of the information, and then the excitement again. We are just as excited as she is about having another little girl!

Build A Bear with Grandma Helen

Grandma Helen came and took Christina to lunch and to "Build A Bear" this week. Christina loves Grandma Helen. It was nice that they got to spend some time together by themselves. It was also nice for me and Nichol because Evan fell asleep while they were gone and we got to eat lunch together. It was almost like a date!! Then we got to have a nice visit with Grandma Helen when they got home.

Bi-Zi Farms Pumpkin Patch 2008

We took our traditional trip to the pumpkin patch last Saturday. The weather has been amazing for October. This is the second or third year in a row it has been nice like this. Bi-Zi Farms is a huge farm just outside of Vancouver that has been around since the 1800's and they really put on nice activities for the kids. They have live entertainment, a maze for the kids, a huge corn maze for the older kids, a petting zoo and lots of livestock, hay rides, pumpkin launches, an old fashioned cider press, and much much more. Anyway, we had a lot of fun and as you can see the kids were worn out and fell asleep as soon as we hit the car. Look closely at Evan's ear. He likes to fold it. This time he fell asleep with it that way. Funny kid!

Grass Valley Park, Camas

Every other Wednesday I get the kids all to myself. Today we went to the park and the kids got to play with cousins and friends. The kids would spend all day at the park if they could! Today is probably the last 80 degree day of the year so we wanted to enjoy it!

Sometimes daddy's do silly things, like laying in the slide and not getting out of the way in time. You have to get that picture.....right? Enjoy!!
